Senior Social – Sneaker Soiree

A Senior Social event that will bring the nostalgia to adults 50 and up. This fun-filled night will include “chaperones”, music, dancing, great food, and a photo booth. A new highlight this year, Appalachian Boot Scootin’ instructors will be helping us boogie the night away.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up and wear their best sneakers. Awards will be given out in the following categories: Coolest Sneakers, Flashiest Sneakers, Most Colorful Sneakers, and Most Unique Sneakers. 2 awards will be given for the Best Overall Sneakers who will be named “King & Queen” and will have the opportunity to ride in the Christmas Parade through Downtown Kingsport.

Participating in social community events is the most effective way to improve your mental health. This event will foster a sense of community and provide an opportunity for social engagement, new friendships and cherished memories.
