Opening for Crowder is Blessing Offor. Offor uses his music to speak to relatable experiences of struggle, triumph, life and love. Born in Nigeria, Offor moved to the US at six-years-old to receive treatment for blindness in one eye due to glaucoma. At 10, he lost sight in the other eye from a water gun accident. He quickly learned music by ear, becoming a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer. His hit song Brighter Days has been used in multiple tv productions, including Grey’s Anatomy.

In addition to the Sunset Series sponsors, Thursday night’s concert is supported by Cook’s Mechanical Services, Carter Trent Funeral Home, Goodwill Industries of Tenneva Area, Tele-Optics, Inc., 88.3 WCQR and multiple local churches.

The Friday Night Concert welcomes Tyler Hubbard. With 21 No. 1 singles on country radio, sold-out tours and multiple awards, Tyler Hubbard began his career as one half of the multi-platinum duo Florida Georgia Line. Hubbard released his first solo album in January 2023 and has received more than one-billion streams so far. Some of his solo hits include: 5 Foot 9, Dancin’ In The Country and Back Then Right Now, among others. He has a new album, Strong, set to be released in April.

Opening for Tyler Hubbard is Emily Ann Roberts and Carson Peters.

Emily Ann Roberts has gone from playing hometown shows on stages in Knoxville to performing on the Grand Ole Opry stage nearly 20 times. She began her career on Blake Shelton’s team on The Voice and is currently opening for Shelton on tour. She’s been labeled as an artist to watch by CMT and released her first full-length album, Can’t Hide Country, last year.

Local musician Carson Peters has grown up in the bluegrass world but is now making a name for himself in country music. Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at eight-years-old, Peters has been performing most of his life. Most recently, he appeared on The Voice as a member of Team Blake.

The Sunset Concert Series wraps up on Saturday with Goo Goo Dolls. The Goo Goo Dolls have been performing for nearly 40 years and have sold more than 15-million records around the world. They achieved mainstream success in the mid-nineties after releasing the single, Name.

Their 1998 single, Iris, spent 11 consecutive months on the Billboard Hot 100. Their 14th studio and most recent album, Chaos in Bloom, came out in 2022. The Goo Goo Dolls have had seven top-40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and received four Grammy nominations.

Phillip Phillips will open for the Goo Goo Dolls. Phillips won season 11 of American Idol, which kick started his career. In 2011, his radio hit, Home, marked the most successful coronation hit of any American Idol winner to date. Since then, he has released four studio albums. His latest single, Love Like That, showcases his life as a husband and father.

The Eastman Fireworks Spectacular will immediately follow the Goo Goo Dolls.
