Block Party weekend is the pre-kickoff of Fun Fest! This year, the dates are July 10th, 11th and 12th.

Never had a Block Party? They can be a private neighborhood gathering of friends or a public party anyone can attend or anything in between!

Block Parties are designed to get everyone excited about the festival kicking off the following week! It is a great opportunity for your business to host an open house, a neighborhood to gather together, churches to host a picnic or families to have a good ole fashion cookout! (These are not intended to be large scale events…we want to save those for the following week!) If your “block party” idea involves street closures, security needs or public service assistance…we would love for you to contact us so we can look at making it a full fledged Fun Fest event to invite the public!

We would love to host 100 Block Parties this year. The first 100 registered parties will receive a FREE Block Party Kit. You will also get a confirmation letter notifying you that your party is an OFFICIAL 2025 Fun Fest Block Party along with details on where and when to pick up your Block Party Kit.

*Important*
If you plan to have your block party in a public space, or space that you do not own, we must make sure that the proper arrangements are made for use of that space. Use of City owned parks and spaces, also require additional reservation paper work and often times a fee.
