Rotary Club of Kingsport recognized three outstanding groups each for the three years leading up to their Centennial Celebration.

By first honoring the past and recognizing our Veterans, a kiosk was installed at Memorial Park for residents to easily find their Veteran’s marker. In honoring our present, a National call was made, an artist selected, and a sculpture has been fabricated to celebrate Everyday Heroes and those who exemplify Service Above Self.

In the Centennial year, Rotary Club of Kingsport honored our future by writing a children’s book about the Rotary motto of Service Above Self, and five thousand copies of the book were distributed to local children.

This event will be the dedication ceremony for the Everyday Heroes public art sculpture to be presented to the City of Kingsport on the front lawn of the Kingsport Lifesaving Crew.
